'19 Yamaha Grizzly 700 SE rock lights install
Rock lights? Really?? YES! Git'n old, man.
So here's another one of my "smart-ideas" lol. LED Rock Lights on the Grizz.....for lighting around the wheels under low-light conditions. Yes, they work. So they definitely aren't just for flash. These LED light pods up in the wheel-wells help me.
Buuut, I did want that one LED light strip up in the hood scoop, for that "Knight Rider" feel. We did manage to get it done, but unfortunately the kit I bought on eBay doesn't have the LED "chase" option. I have only solid colors. But still neat nonetheless, and getting inside the bike for wiring etc. was a good thing.
It was a great learning experience and another good time garage-wrenchin' with @the.real.sportsman. The lights work great, they aren't that difficult to install, and aren't complicated to operate. The real trouble is mounting them....if you aren't zip-tying them secure and are using something like double-sided sticky tape, make sure it is the strongest adhesive possible. Also, make sure to secure the wires up in the wheel-wells when routing them, especially if you run in the mud, water, skeg, etc a lot, because if the wires hang...they will pick up a bunch of debris and potentially come loose from the weight.

Heat Demon heated ATV grips & thumb throttle
Score! Ordered a Heat Demon Quad Zone and ended up with two! No, really, I opened the box and there was TWO Heat Demon Quad Zone kits in there! Holy shitbats!!
So my nephew got a freebie and we both have some really good heated grips and a heated thumb throttle. This "Quad Zone" model has plugs for two more heated accessories....like, a seat or helmet. Excellent stuff, guys. You really can't go wrong with the Heat Demon. Well-made, easy to install, and works A+.
All good in the 'hood, boys 'n gals,...just don't forget to turn them off! ;)
