Honeycomb license plates?
No place to affix your registration sticker? Try one of these Honeycomb cereal-style mini license plates for bicycles!
I didn't like any of spots on my Grizzly for mounting my sticker, so I had to in to MacGyver-mode and came up with this solution...
You can find these mini license plates online, and I found these on one of the first web sites I searched for using Google. Logos on the plate won't matter because we will be Plasti-Dipping (or spray-painting) the plates. I chose black Plasti-Dip. An initial spritz on the plate for "tack", then multiple light coats to evenly build up the "Dip", and about 5/6 coats will provide a nice, somewhat durable surface than can be peeled-off easily if damaged and re-done easily if need be. Easy to work with, I usually choose Dip over spray- paint for projects like this.
Once your plates are Dip'd and dried, you can affix your registration stickers on the plate, making sure not to put them on crooked! :)
Last step is to mount the plates using some zip ties. I mounted my plates under the racks and really like the result.
