Haha, I took an hour cruise up to Boundtree today, and the road was closed "until 3pm"...
...but I was there at Noon, ready to ride, and wasn't gunna hang-around until 3, but probably could have driven-around even longer and found another way to the parking lot...
Day after my Birthday shenanigans. I checked around for a bit, and probably could have gone around another way, but decided to head back. No biggie, really. It was going to be hot out that way. I will try again some day ASAP. It was the first time I drove that far for a solo ATV cruise.
Plan B was to stop in Fremont, NH at the Rockingham County Recreational Trail, so I could feel the wind go by on at least some type of cruise.
It was hot. It probably could had been hotter. But it was still hot, and hardest part was getting the Grizzly winched back up in to the bed and strapped-down again. Especially being alone.
Definitely took a few breaks during that drenching sweat fiasco. Will also remember to park in the shade next time. That should help a little, ya know. What a knucklehead smh.
I always forget to turn the knob on the winch back to winch, from freespool, after I bring it up in to the bed, attach it to the strap at the front, and before I start winching the bike up the ramps. That's another lesson I am learning the hard way.
No video taken lately, because the new extended RAM Mount isn't liking my Samsung Galaxy S24+, it's too high, and is floppin'-around too much out on the trails.
Working-on getting a GoPro camera to go on my helmet for better POV videos.
Still had a nice ATV cruise, tho, I can tell you that!
